ZATLOUKAL, R., 1992: Varietní komín ve Staré Amatérské jeskyni. In: Speleofórum ´92, ČSS, 29-31. Brno.
Summary: Varietní chimney in the Stará (Old) Amatérská Cave, Moravian Karst
The chimney was discovered and surveyed by members of The Holštejnská Caving Club at the Old Amatérská Cave, in 1990. It is a complicated system of parallel schafts (tubes) connected by horizontal corridors and halls. The total length is over 650 m and the total height is 100 m. The whole discovered system ascendes up to a level of 3 m below the surface.
In spite of such a success there are still lots of problems. Solving them would surely bring some new results in understanding the paleodrainage system of the Ostrov plateau and its surroundings.

Summary: Šošůvská propast Abyss (Moravian Karst, northern part)
The abyss is situated in the quarry "Na Bradinách" close to the Šošůvka village. It was discovered and partly surveyed in 1960. In 1992 a revising exploration and survey took part. The total length together with recently discovered or reopened extension is 103 m and the level difference is 49,91 m. There is a chance of connection with the large Sloupsko-šošůvské Caves.

Summary: Holštejnská Cave and Sink-hole No. 74 (Moravian Karst)
The Holštejnská Cave is situated in the northern part of the Moravian Karst. In the period of 1988-89 there were found the high content of radon. Therefore in 1993 speleogroup 6-15 Holštejnská attempted to penetrate from the cave under the sink hole No. 74, where the cave communication with surface has been expected.

Summary: Mongolia-Aguj 94
The Nicolaus Speleoclub of the Slovak Speleological Society organized the international expedition in the summer of 1994. The aim was to explore the area with occurrences of carbonate rocks in the vicinity of the Chövzgöl lake. The Dajín derchén Cave long 304 m developed in marbles was explored and surveyed. The cave serve as for the local medicine man activity. Another 6 caves in marbles in the permafrost zone were explored. One pseudokarstic cave was explored in the vicinity of Ulaanbaatar.

Summary: Discoveries in the Nová rasovna Cave (Maravian Karst)
The cave is situated in the northern part of the Moravian Karst. It represents the drainage of floods or the paleodrainage of Bílá voda (White wather) Creek. The Holštejn Caving Club discovered new chimney of Sintrový komín with the height of 39 m and new corridor of the Komínová chodba 32 m long. The total length of the whole cave reaches about 1,5 km.

Summary: The last discoveries in the Holštějnská Cave (Moravian Karst)
The exploration under the sinkhole No. 74 brought the discovery of another passage not filled by sediments. Its length is 37 m now.

ZATLOUKAL, R., 1998: Souvisí propast Jednička (č. 510) se sondou Pod Jedničkou? In: Speleofórum ´98, 5-6, Praha.
Summary: Is there the connection of the Jednička Shaft with exploration pit of "Pod Jedničkou"?
The opening of the Jednička Shaft is situated in the northem part of the Moravian Karst at the eastern edge of the Sošůvka Plateau. In 1970-1971 cavers dug the pit up to the depth of 33 m. Here, activities were interrupted by unfavorable conditions, in 1990, we tried to open the ventarola situated 32 m to the North from the opening of the Jednička. We discovered fissureshaped system.

Summary: The new opening of doline No. 802 on the Šošůvka Plateau in the Moravian Karst
In 1966, cavers from the Holštejnská Caving Club started to dig in collapsed mouth of doline No. 802 (Šošůvka Plateau, northern part of the Moravian Karst). Excavations stopped at -18.5 m in 1973 owing to problems with the transport of excavated material to surface. The cave with active water stream ending in a sump was discovered by 47 m deep shaft excavated in doline No. 68 in 1978. The tracing test proved the connection with the Přítoková Passage in the Amatérská Cave. Using smoke and entering water, the connection of chimney in the IIIrd Dome of doline No. 68 with fissure in the bottom of doline No. 802 was proved. As the shaft into doline No. 68 was filled by material from the security reasons, we decided to open this cave through doline No. 802. During 1997 and 1998 we excavated new shaft into the depth of 17 m, which will be ensured by concrete tubes. After the finish of such construction, we will continue up to place of expected connection with cave under doline No. 68.

Summary: Havran (Rook) schaft (Ohniště Ridge, Nízké Tatry Mts., Slovakia)
The new speleological locality is situated on the northeastern slope of the Ohniště Ridge. Since the discovery of the cave on February 1, 1998 cavers reached the depth of 180 m during 18 campaigns. The greatest surprise, and a mystery at the some time, is a draught heading out of the cave during the whole year.

Summary: Renewal of the speleological exploration of Doline No. 804 on the Šošůvka Plateau in the Moravian Karst
Shaft-like cave with a depth of about 90 m under the Doline No. 804 was found in 1968. It is situated in the northeastern part ofthe Moravian Karst on the Šošůvka Plateau (entrance at 502,93 m a.s.l., JTSK co-ordinates: X=1139 165.44: Y=584 111.82). Owing to more important discoveries along the Bílá voda Creek and in the Holštejn Valley, it has rested without any important interest for a long time. After the revision of polygon last year, new possibilities of prolongation were discovered, especially at the lowest part of the cave with low sumps and small creek. The distance of this place with the nearest spaces in the Přítoková chodba (Inflow Passage) of the Old Amatérská Cave is only 100 m with the altitude distance of only 11 m. Waters are sinking in Doline No. 804 in outflow sump with distinct noise in-between blocks of a collapse. It could be concluded, that the sump is closing some larger shaft-like cavern. Another possibility for exploration is up stream. The connection with Doline No. 801 (U Trojičky) with the active underground stream has not yet been proved, although it is highly probable.

Summary: Exploration of the V kotýlku Cave in the northern part of the Moravian Karst
On February 2000, excavated pit leading to yet unknown spaces was discovered above the Nová Rasovna Cave (northern part of the Moravian Karst). The cave was named as V kotýlku (In the Kettle) Cave. It represents fossil course of the Bílá voda (White wather) Creek, which was later utilized by floods of Mariánský Creek. The length of the cave is about 70 m and the depth reaches 15 m.

Summary: The Sinkhole No. 68 again accessible, the Šošůvská Plateau, the Moravian Karst
After three years of exploration the Sinkhole No. 68 was entered from the Sinkhole No. 802. This will enable the exploration of underground stream flowing through Sinkhole No. 68 towards the Amatérská Cave.
